Resonant absorption of kink MHD waves in inclined and asymmetric coronal loops

This paper separately evaluates the effects of inclination and asymmetry solar coronal loops on resonant absorption kink magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) oscillations. We modelled a typical loop by straight axisymmetric cylindrical magnetic flux tube filled with cold plasma. solved dispersion relation numerically for different values longitudinal mass density stratification. show that, in inclined asymmetric loops, frequencies their corresponding damping rates fundamental first-overtone modes oscillations are smaller comparison semi-circular uninclined same lengths. The results also indicate period ratio $P_1/P_2$, increases increasing loop, but it decreases less than $2\%$ while imposing to each side, up $9.66\%$ length. mode frequency its rate remain unchanged approximately or imposed. Hence, we conclude that these ratios reliable inferring physical parameters medium, regardless shape state inclination. In addition, contrast effect which is not significant when an observed oscillating has apex height, important factor should be considered, especially taken into consideration seismology.
